THE CHASE BETWEEN THE CAT & MOUSE

This morning I just thought to share something with you to keep you running for the new week.

Have you ever wondered what drives the cat when chasing a mouse? The famous animation Tom and Jerry centers on a rivalry between its two title characters, Tom, a cat, and Jerry, a mouse.

IN THE CHASE BETWEEN THE CAT AND THE MOUSE, THE MOUSE MOSTLY WINS. THIS IS BECAUSE THE CAT IS RUNNING FOR IT’S FOOD AND THE MOUSE IS RUNNING FOR IT’S LIFE!

Purpose is more powerful than need.

Keep running.

The one at the back,  running for the food may give up after a while because, hey, there will always be another opportunity, another prey will pass by and the chase can start all over again.

But the one in front,  running for dear life, has a purpose : there is only one life.  If you don’t run for dear life, it will be over.

Don’t ever forget, your run for purpose should be stronger and more intense than your run for need.

Have a splendid week.
