While Kylie Jenner said that 2016 was the time of “like, realizing stuff,” I guess she was mixed up. The year 2018 has surely been the time of realizing stuff.
By far, the biggest lesson of life this year is that individuals, friendships, and relationships are the values of life. They are the estimation of the Shares life issues each day. In this way, the more you put resources into individuals, friendships and relationships, the more your values shoot up. And a wise investor will reinvest.
2018 has likewise shown me the value of family. The family is all one has. At the point when the chips are down and when everyone is gone, family ain’t going no place. Blood, they say, is thicker than water, don’t weaken the blood.
To ask for help when I need it and accept it when it’s offered. One of the best qualities of human beings is that we are wired to help each other. Utilize this quality to help yourself.
What you surround yourself with matters. Surround yourself with better people, information, energy, diversity, and ideals. You’re only as strong as the environment around you. If you surround yourself with champions, movers and shakers, healthy, hardworking, honest and knowledgeable people, you’ll become one too.
I made so many leaps with things I am passionate about. I have hurt close people and close people have hurt me. I have mourned friendships that went so sour that the taste changed my buds forever. I love to think that I forgive easily and I also love to imagine that my heart is so big but life has shown me that sometimes, my heart shrinks and disappears totally from its space. It has also taught me that resentment does not need a big space before it consumes all of me.
I really don’t know why I am sharing this. It has been on my heart for days now. But I am making an effort to make the theme of my life that of grace and mercy, with a little sprinkling of patience and charm.
Life’s too short to turn away from Happiness. Do whatever it is that makes you happy.
I learned how to delegate. I can’t do it all on my own. I basically learned to work with people.
Forgiveness is as much a benefit for me as it is for others. I needed to forgive to truly heal, let go of anger, and move on. I remember starting the forgiveness challenge because I was hurt badly that period and I needed help and strength to forgive and let go. If you missed that post, read it ( here challenge 1, 2, 3, 4)
Whatever I go through, is NOT the end of the world. I Cry it out and move on. Sometimes when you get overwhelmed, it’s just best to take a nap and re-evaluate when you’re rested. Don’t judge what you see on social media as the real deal. It is not. Not everyone is doing awesome, beautiful things all of the time!
I have also learned the golden value of sipping a glass of juice, crossing my ankles and patiently watching as time sorts things out, naturally.
As this year comes to a close, may we lean towards grace and mercy for ourselves and for other people. I am encouraging you to make peace with that person and enter 2019 without carrying the hurt of previous years. Give your heart space to experience new and genuine love, let go of all that hurt.
May we find the courage to ask to be forgiven, and the strength to forgive when the situation arises. May we become fashioned towards living light and free.
