MY 2018 DIARY: THE CHRONICLES OF MY BIRTHDAY || 17TH DECEMBER, 2018

After contemplating whether or not to drop a birthday post since its already three days late, I have received several calls asking why I don’t have this post up yet. So, since my readers want it, here you have it😛.

I’m not one of those people that get super excited about their birthdays and basically put it in your face from like a month before the actual date. Nope! Honestly, I’ve never really caught the “birthday excitement bug” and I still do not understand why.

I am sure everyone reading this is expecting some juicy details of how I spent my day, oh well I am not sure there is any. My past relationship came back to hunt me and it did not choose a better date than my birthdate to do that. Honestly, I am still hurting but I trust time to heal the wound. My recommendation to you is, know your kind of person and trust your instincts. I hope some time or another I can talk widely on the issue however for the present, kindly manage this information as I don’t want to be biased. Notwithstanding, I am incredibly blessed and thankful to see another year. My main focus is to remain focused. This year I will continue to bring just as much energy and passion to everything I do, so stay tuned.

I hear your twenties is the time to explore and live a bit. I still haven’t tried out a lot of fun things I would have loved to by now but someday I will.

I am thankful for life though and growth! Even though life is a bit more complicated now, I can definitely see the difference between where I am at now and where I was last year. My life has a bit more direction than back then.

I am also grateful for great friends who stood by me this year. I have been able to separate the grain from the chaff.

I got “thoughtful gifts” that have been making me smile. I am a big softie at heart even though I am all

hardcore. Lol.

I am currently lying down on my bed, preparing what to wear for my sign out day in school which is later in the day.
